Given I'm doing poems, nice short poems, would it be okay if I posted them here?

For the past couple of days I've been ...not achieving ...my goal of one a day. And so I've been promising myself one more tomorrow. It got up to about six that I owed myself. So today I wrote one with six verses, which raises the question: what is a poem? I mean, seriously' what is *one* poem, or the equivalent of one? I'm nit worrying about numbers, and just going back to doing *something* every day.

fwiw, a six-verse poem is the most I have written in ages, so I feel pretty good.

I wrote 417 words yesterday, but they were mostly just venting to myself about existence.

Just chiming in to echo that I too have not achieved my goals haha  ::)

My half excuse is that I have been without a laptop since Friday, which is a good excuse to not post anything here but I had plenty of other ways to write.. Anyway, just hoping to write one line today to ease back into things. Going to look for some inspiration now..

Hey!

Yes, daily updates here might be a good idea, I sometimes find it easier to write something here, than to write something there.

I did forgot to post yesterday, but I worked a bit more on my top secret electronics documents ???, before losing the rest of the day to a very slow bike ride and not bothering to worry about anything else.

My update for today is that despite writing nothing, I've started reading a new book (Epiphany Jones by Michael Grothaus), did a lot of vacuuming, and just baked a cake. Banana and sultana and cinnamon. I'd bring some next Monday, if it wasn't a holiday.

I also finished the Tim Winton one, Eyrie, which was good overall, but had a slightly disappointing ending. I don't know if he was trying to make a statement, or if it was something else.

Hi guys!

So, I have been consistentlly failing at this even-just-a-word thing. So I''ve set my sights n daily poems. Been feiling at that too, but it's very satisfying when I succeed.

I think I'll add to the goal - updating this daily too. It's a great motivator.

Have a happy Easter!

I actually wrote quite a bit today - 900 or so words (haven't finished editing yet). Though they are electronics-related, quite technical, and likely very boring to everyone here.

Hi guys!
I have done no writing today, and I am about to go offline for Easter. I plan on doing some writing in the sand with my toe.
Have fun chatting with the Easter bunny etc.

That clip is funny :-)

I was just about to say that I wrote nothing today, but then I opened up my essay and wrote just under 200 words on it. The only reason I am still awake is that I ate too much chocolate this evening.

I want to write a poem about how much I don't feel like writing. It could be some sort of recursive, logician's Hell, based upon the impossibility of a collapsed paradox. And now I've given myself an idea. Dammit.

The weekend is not shaping up to be particularly exciting from my current standpoint. I've run out of chocolate, and all I've got is a unkempt rabbit living under my back porch.

But, inadvertent poetry from the orange buffoon has reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JtYr0tiONc which may prove amusing and is not in any way meant as a form of subterfuge.
