But you wrote something! :)

I like the imagery of a lawn deletion. In a cybernetic orchard, perhaps? (Midnight Oil reference)

I wrote a poem this morning. 144 words. I would have written more today but I couldn't because of reasons.

A short dark poem at 11:45PM. Better luck tomorrow.

Well I've been reading through a bunch of really old poems today, inspired by Agent 24's suggestion to see if typing one up inspires some more writing/editing in the writing instruments thread. It hasn't worked so far but I've found a whole bunch of really short bits that I love, and a whole bunch of despairing/self motivational(?) poems haha.

My writing today is what I am just going to make up right now  ;D

maybe this year
will be the year
i have a birthday party
that i actually enjoy

maybe this year
i won't be afraid
of being a year older
still feeling like nobody

maybe this year
i will be okay
and conquer my fears
that'd be okay

Thanks for sharing your poem Serena! Yay we are doing it  you guys!

Today was a pretty shitty writing day today for me. I wrote 3 words in my journal 'Don't watch TV'.
Seriously, pretty much everything on TV sucks so bad, and now it is 10 o'clock and I have wasted an entire evening. I have the feeling something wants to be written which I am avoiding... I will do my best to get it down tomorrow. Or maybe I will try to write some more words right now.

It's nice to come across happy little snippets (am I Bob Ross now?) that you forgot about  :D
I like your poem, I find it quite relatable.

I had a spike of inspiration during a nap this afternoon and wrote 299 words which might be usable for one of my book ideas.
I also wrote 839 words earlier, toward a letter of sorts, though I'm not sure if that really counts here

Maybe it was only 3 words, but they are very important words. TV really does suck! I predict that within 10 years broadcast TV will be all but dead and streaming services will take over. Not that they're necessarily much better, for content, but at least you don't get screamed at by Harvey Norman every ten minutes.

Yesterday I had a beer at the cafe across the road, and continued with my Snowflake method writing template

I forgot and only managed 91 words today before my brain gave up.

Ah thank you all, I'm really struggling at the moment and you guys are making it feel better, even just for a little bit <3

Will try to actually write today instead of just feeling emotional.

Sorry to hear things are hard for you :( If it makes any difference, I'm having a pretty miserable day myself. I really don't feel like writing or doing anything much at all.

I forced myself to go for a walk and now have a first draft of a poem of around 250 words. Half of it is probably terrible but it can be improved... I hope.  :P

Congratulations everyone for suffering through the Mexican Ultimatum experiment!
Hopefully it brought you all some inspirational insight, and not just irritation.  ;D

Join us again this week (or for the first time) for the continuation of this little idea, in the new thread: Russian Revolution (unless anyone else has a better name for it).  :P
